Lincoln, J-P Complete Merger

Lincoln National Corp., Philadelphia, says it has completed its acquisition of Jefferson-Pilot Corp.

The company says the acquisition will make it rank first in the United States in universal life sales, second in total life sales, fifth in group disability sales, fifth in variable universal life sales and fifth in variable annuity sales.
