A national marketing group is adding a new source of products for wealthy clients.
M Financial Group, Portland, Ore., says it has agreed to offer life insurance and annuity products from Sun Life Financial U.S., Wellesley, Mass., to member firms.
Sun Life, a unit of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto, will enter into reinsurance arrangements that could help lower costs for clients if M Financial mortality and persistency rates perform as expected, the companies say.
Sun Life also has agreed to provide sale support, marketing support, underwriting services and policyholder services for M Financial member firms, the companies say.
