The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies is trying to reduce the life insurance industry’s dependence on paper.
NAILBA, Fairfax, Va., has released an imaging implementation guide, a non-vendor-specific discussion of the data format, setup requirements and other technical details involved with converting industry paper documents into a standardized electronic format.
The next version of the guide, due in July, will include additions that should help trading partners use imaging for products other than life insurance as well as for life insurance, NAILBA says.
