An American General Corp. veteran is rising at American International Group Inc.
AIG, New York, has named Rodney Martin Jr. chief operating officer of its worldwide life insurance business.
Martin, who has been president of AIG American General Life Companies and an AIG executive vice president for life insurance, will continue to hold the other titles as well.
Martin has been president of AIG American General since AIG acquired American General, Houston, in 2001.
Before that, Martin was a senior vice chairman at American General.
