Torchmark Corp. says Andrew King is the new president and chief marketing officer at its Liberty National Life Insurance Company subsidiary.
King previously was president of the exclusive agency division at Torchmark’s United American Insurance Company subsidiary, according to Torchmark, Birmingham, Ala.
Liberty National is a traditional life insurer, and United American sells Medicare supplement insurance.
In other personnel news:
- United Concordia Companies Inc., Harrisburg, Pa., has named Dr. Richard Klich to be a vice president and national dental director.
Klich previously was vice president of professional relations at Delta Dental of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, according to United Concordia, a dental insurance subsidiary of Highmark Inc., Pittsburgh.
Klich has a bachelor’s degree and a dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
- Baltimore Life Insurance Company, Owings Mills, Md., has named John Centi agency team manager of its Johnstown agency and Larry McSherry agency team manager of its Hagerstown agency.
