The Consumer Federation of America and the Financial Planning Association have some frightening news about consumers.
The CFA, Washington, and the FPA, Denver, have scheduled a press teleconference for Jan. 9 to discuss a survey of consumers and a survey of financial planners that dealt with attitudes about personal wealth.
“One of the results to be released is that over 20% of Americans believe that winning the lottery is the most practical way to accumulate wealth,” the CFA and the FPA report in the media advisory announcing the teleconference.
