Due to the effects of Hurricane Katrina, our regular Web site – http://www.panamericanlife.com – is temporarily out of service.
However, our business processing capabilities are all operational. The company has put into effect a detailed disaster and recovery plan that was developed well in advance of this storm. All critical data with regards to the integrity of our policyholder information, our associates and our employees, as well as other financial information, is safe and fully backed up in off-site locations in other states.
Pan-American Life is a strong company with sound financial resources and capable professionals who will work together to overcome this unfortunate event. We are working closely with our systems and telecommunications professionals to fully restore all systems. At present, we have re-established operations from a remote location in Dallas, Texas.

A 60-day grace period has been extended to policyholders for the purpose of premium payments and other policy-related transactions; especially to those residents of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
