LANDMARK TOWER SOLD. MetLife Inc. is selling its former headquarters, a New York landmark, for $918 million to SL Green Realty. It expects to complete the sale of One Madison Avenue in the second quarter. SL Green plans to convert the building, which was MetLifes home for nearly a century, to condominium apartments.
