Edhec Adds to Research Team

NICE, France (HedgeWorld.com)–The Edhec Risk and Asset Management Research Centre at Edhec Business School appointed Timothy Spangler as a research associate.

Mr. Spangler will contribute to the center’s web site, primarily on European hedge fund regulation, according to a news release from Edhec.

Mr. Spangler is a qualified U.S. attorney and English solicitor and is a partner at law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner, where he serves in the funds group, advising clients on the structuring, promotion and operation of private investments vehicles and on more general securities and regulatory issues, according to the news release. He serves on the Regulatory Committee of the City of London Law Society and on the Private Investment Fund Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
