Jack Peckinpaugh was named the 2004 winner of the John Newton Russell Award at the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors convention in Las Vegas.

“You have given back to our industry with your strong support of NAIFA and with your generous contribution of your time and talent,” said NAIFA Immediate Past President Randy Kilgore.

Peckinpaugh achieved Million Dollar Round Table status during his first year in the business, and this year marked 49 consecutive years of qualifying. He served as MDRT president in 1975 and as president of the National Association of Life Underwriters (now NAIFA) in 1981.

In accepting the award, Peckinpaugh said, “Ive been blessed by good teachers, even some great ones, both in and outside the classroom. And speaking of blessings, to be successful in this business, everyone needs at least two more: good companies to represent and great clients to serve. Boy, do I have both!”
