The runner-up from “The Apprentice” will help the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education, Washington, promote life insurance.[@@]
Kwame Jackson, a former investment advisor who kept Donald Trump happy for months, will act as the spokesman in September for LIFE’s Life Insurance Awareness Month.
The nonprofit foundation has raised $2.5 million from insurance companies and financial services trade groups to finance the campaign, which will include Web promotions, community-based seminars and a series of radio public service announcements.
Jackson’s mother died when he was 15. Proceeds from her life insurance policy paid for Jackson’s bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his master’s degree in business from Harvard University, LIFE says.
Before Jackson appeared on “The Apprentice,” he worked as an investment manager at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., New York.
