The Wellesley Hills, Mass.-based U.S. arm of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto, has announced changes to its distribution system.[@@]

The company has agreed to sell medical stop-loss coverage through United Benefit Advisors, Indianapolis, a benefits marketing consortium, as a UBA strategic partner.

The company also has responded to growth in U.S. sales by increasing the number of U.S. divisions to 6, from 2. The current regional vice presidents, Chris Quinn and Timothy Staggs, will continue to be regional vice presidents. Quinn will run the Northeast region, and Staggs will run the Southeast region.

The new regional vice presidents are Mike Joyce, North Central region; Alan Tunkel, Midwest region; Michael Hoefler, Southwest region; and Paul Danielson, Northwest region.

All of the new regional vice presidents are longtime Sun Life Financial employees.
