Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, has developed a new consumer education package.[@@]
The package, "From Here to Security," includes printed pamphlets that explain life and disability insurance, life and disability needs-assessment worksheets, and a set of Web-based needs-assessment calculators. The package also includes an electronic version of the pamphlets stored on a CD-ROM.
Package materials emphasize that, for consumers who are short on cash, purchasing some coverage is better than doing nothing, Principal says.
