CHICAGO (HedgeWorld.com)–Starting Monday [June 28] investors will be able to trade futures on an additional 10 individual equities on the OneChicago LLC electronic exchange.

The expansion of OneChicago’s single-stock futures trading program is part of a plan to add as many as 40 new single-stock futures over the summer, according to officials at the exchange.

The new futures contracts will be available for Allstate Corp., Advanced Micro Devices Inc., Boston Scientific Corp., Electronic Data Systems Corp., EMC Corp., Eli Lilly and Co., Freddie Mac, Schering-Plough Corp., Viacom Inc. and Williams Companies Inc.

When the new contracts start trading, OneChicago will have 119 security futures, including 104 single-stock futures on individual companies and the DIAMONDS Trust and 15 futures on the Dow Jones MicroSector Indexes. Each futures contract is equivalent to 100 shares of the underlying stock or exchange-traded fund.
