Hartford Life Investment Products Strategist Moves To Pru

NU Online News Service, June 10, 2004, 5:24 p.m. EDT – The retirement services unit at Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J., has hired James Mallozzi to be the senior vice president in charge of its marketing and strategy organization.[@@]

Mallozzi succeeds Paul Chong, who has “decided to pursue an entrepreneurial venture,” Prudential says.

Mallozzi previously was director of strategic initiatives for investment products at Hartford Life Insurance Company, a unit of Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford. He also has been head of international business development and head of 401(k) pension sales and marketing at Aetna Inc., Hartford.

Mallozzi has a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking and a master’s degree in finance from Suffolk University.
