Standard Insurance Offers Online Plan Administration

NU Online News Service, May 11, 2004, 9:30 a.m. EDT – Standard Insurance Company has enhanced its employee benefit plan administration software to allow employers to manage more aspects of their insurance plans online.[@@]

Standard, a subsidiary of StanCorp Financial Group, Inc., Portland, Ore., says it has improved its AdminEase service to allow employers to initiate claims and analyze claims experience on the Web and to check the status of insurance applications that require medical underwriting.

Standard is offering AdminEase at no extra charge to employers that purchase its group disability, life and dental insurance plans.
