About the Manager

Sheila Amoroso is a senior vice president of Franklin Advisers, Inc. and co-director of Franklin’s Municipal Bond Department. Amoroso also serves as a co-director of Franklin Templeton Private Client Group’s municipal strategy. She is a portfolio manager of the Franklin Federal Tax-Free Income Fund, as well as several other tax-free funds. Amoroso joined Franklin in 1986. She holds a bachelor of science degree from San Francisco State University and an MBA from the College of Notre Dame. She is a member of the San Francisco Municipal Bond Club and California Society of Municipal Analysts.
