New York (HedgeWorld.com)–Dubin & Swieca Capital Management LLC, a fund of funds with assets under management in excess of US$800 million, hired Anthony J. Anselmo as its new chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
Mr. Anselmo formerly was a managing director and the chief administrative officer of Blackstone Alternative Asset Management LP, New York. He also has worked at Muzinich & Co. Inc. and as senior financial manager for Citicorp Global Asset Management Ltd. He received his MBA from New York University after undergraduate work at Hofstra. He’s a certified public accountant and chartered financial analyst.
“At Dubin & Swieca Capital Management, I will build an integrated hedge fund of funds investment, due diligence, and financial operating platform, and implement the best institutional practices I developed at Blackstone,” he said in a statement.
His position at Dubin & Swieca is a newly created one, according to chief administrative officer Ron Resnick.
Dubin & Swieca was founded in 1984 by Henry Swieca and Glenn Dubin and is wholly owned by the principals, who were among the early advocates of multi-manager hedge fund structures.
