NU Online News Service, Nov. 12, 2003, 4:37 p.m. EST – Transamerica Reinsurance, Charlotte, N.C., has named Brock Robbins to be vice president and chief life actuary.
Robbins previously was general manager of the life reinsurance business at Canada Life Assurance Company, Toronto. Brock also has been the chief financial officer at Canada Life’s international and reinsurance businesses.
Robbins has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Waterloo. He holds the Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries professional designations.
