Oct. 7, 2003 — Portfolio managers Eric M. Wetlaufer and Lisa Svensson are no longer with Putnam Investments.
Wetlaufer’s last day at the firm will be on Thursday, October 9, while Svensson left in mid-September, according to company spokeswoman Laura McNamara.
Wetlaufer was on the management teams of the $3.9-billion Putnam Vista Fund (PVISX) and the $18.4-billion Putnam Voyager Fund (PVOYX). He also served as chief investment officer of Putnam’s mid-cap growth team.
The spokeswoman said no replacements have been named for Wetlaufer in either of his former capacities, and declined to discuss the reasons behind the moves or the future plans of either Wetlaufer or Svensson, but noted that “the strategies and investment objectives of the funds will remain the same.”
