NU Online News Service, Oct. 13, 2003, 1:03 p.m. EDT – The Association for Cooperative Research and Development, Pearl River, N.Y., is using a Web-based system from Blue Frog Solutions Inc., Pompano Beach, Fla., to maintain ACORD XML life insurance standards.

The system, the ADMServer Standards Maintenance Module, helps ACORD document changes in the standards.

XML is a set of rules for creating systems that can translate information from one database format to another. ACORD is developing life insurance XML standards, annuity XML standards and other XML standards in an effort to help insurers share information with business partners and combine data stored on different computers.
