Life Settlement Firm Hires Former Hartford Life Marketing Chief

NU Online News Service, Aug. 14, 2003, 11:14 a.m. EDT – Coventry First L.L.C., Fort Washington, Pa., has hired Ted Kilkuskie, a former chief marketing officer for Hartford Life Insurance Company, Simsbury, Conn., to manage relationships with life insurance companies.

Coventry First helps life insurance policyholders sell the rights to the policy death benefits to other parties.

While Kilkuskie was at Hartford Life, a unit of Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, he developed new distribution channels and managed the company’s independent broker-dealer sales force.

Kilkuskie also has worked as a general manager of the U.S. life insurance operations of Manulife Financial Corp., Toronto, and as an executive vice president for national sales at a unit of Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J.
