Life Investors Markets LTC Program

NU Online News Service, Aug. 6, 2003, 12:38 p.m. EDT – Life Investors Insurance Company of America, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has introduced LTC Personal Solutions, a long term care program that pays a monthly benefit regardless of who provides the care.

Customers can buy optional rate guarantees.

Life Investors will underwrite the policies on a modified guarantee issue basis when an employer offers the worksite version of the program to a group of at least 15 eligible applicants, Life Investors says.

Life Investors is marketing the program through GoldenCare USA Inc., Plymouth, Minn., in the East and through American Independent Marketing Inc., Yakima, Wash., in the West.

Life Investors is a unit of AEGON N.V., The Hague, Netherlands.
