Orbison Becomes Permanent Head Of Advantus

NU Online News Service, June 24, 2003, 3:17 p.m. EDT – Minnesota Life Insurance Company, St. Paul, Minn., has named Dianne Orbison president of its Advantus Capital Management money management unit.

Orbison, Advantus’s chief investment officer, has been the interim head since July 2002. She will continue to be the chief investment officer now that she is president, Minnesota Life says.

Orbison has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin.

Advantus runs 11 retail open-end mutual funds and manages $14 billion in assets.
