NU Online News Service, June 2, 2003, 1:23 p.m. EDT – Bankers Life and Casualty Company, Chicago, will be offering its producers two new videos aimed at older consumers.

One is a Medicare tutorial for consumers who are nearing age 65. The second talks about what older people must do to maintain good mental and physical health.

Both videos feature Robert Butler, a well-known authority on aging who is a professor of adult development at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. Butler won the Pulitzer Prize for his book “Why Survive? Being Old in America.”

Bankers agents and managers will be using the videos during home visits as well as at seminars, the company says.
