AXA Reports Higher 1st Quarter Revenue

NU Online News Service, May 12, 2003, 7:55 p.m. – AXA S.A., Paris, is reporting 20 billion euros in revenue for the first quarter, down from 21 billion euros in revenue for the first quarter of 2002.

Revenue at the life and savings unit held steady at 12 billion euros, and the U.S. life unit increased its revenue 10%, to $3.3 billion.

Income figures were not immediately available.
