Spitzer to Speak at New Industry Group's Meeting

NEW YORK (HedgeWorld.com)–The Wall Street Hedge Fund Forum, a recently organized industry association, will have New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer as keynote speaker at its very first meeting.

“The forum is designed to educate people in the hedge fund industry through two main platforms,” said Sadis & Goldberg’s Ron Geffner, president of the group and co-chair of its board with Bear Stearns’ Donald McInerney. There will be semi-annual meetings, the first to take place March 3 with Mr. Spitzer as speaker.

The group is also organizing committees that members can join. These will hold roundtable discussions in which all attendees may participate, Mr. Geffner explained. They will provide forum members with overviews of new developments in the industry.
