BERWYN, Pa. (HedgeWorld.com)–Ascendant Capital Partners, the hedge fund of funds unit of Turner Investment Partners, hired Jeffrey T. Yager to the new position of product manager.
Mr. Yager will market Ascendant’s hedge funds of funds to wealthy individuals and their financial advisers. He also will assist Turner’s existing institutional, mutual fund and managed account sales force in selling Ascendant’s hedge funds.
He previously was director, sales and client service for the intermediary channel at InvestorForce Inc., according to a Turner statement. He reports to Gary E. Shugrue, chief investment officer for Ascendant, which last year launched four registered hedge funds of funds.
