NU Online News Service, Dec. 12, 10:37 a.m. – AFLAC Inc., Columbus, Ga., is marketing to owners of small businesses this year by putting AFLAC payroll deduction tools in the latest versions of the QuickBooks bookkeeping software from Intuit Inc., Mountain View, Calif.

When business owners combine QuickBooks 2003 with Intuit Payroll Services, they can use an automatic process to set up regular payroll deductions for employees who buy AFLAC insurance policies.

The new QuickBooks software also includes a section for storing contact information for AFLAC insurance agents, along with a tool for viewing reports on AFLAC deductions.

When business owners buy Intuit’s Employee Organizer service, they will receive the forms they need to enroll employees in AFLAC programs and handle routine administration.
