Nov. 21, 2002 — Turner Funds said it is liquidating two funds because they lack assets.

The Turner Funds Global Top 40 (TGTFX), which has $2.15 million in assets, and the Turner New Energy & Power Technology Fund, which has $756,000, will close to new investors on November 30 in connection with the liquidation.

Both funds are less than three years old. Turner Global Top 40, which invests in domestic and foreign stocks, was launched in June 2000. Turner New Energy & Power Technology, which buys U.S. power and energy companies, began operations in February 2001.

The liquidations will be completed at the end of the year.
