Transamerica Re Exec To Represent U.S. At FIDES

NU Online News Service, Oct. 8, 5:35 p.m. – The Federacion Interamericana de Empresas de Seguros, Bogota, has named Rodolfo Wehrhahn to be vice president for its northern region, which includes Mexico, Spain and the United States.

Wehrhahn will serve as a representative to FIDES for the American Council of Life Insurers, Washington.

FIDES is an association that represents insurance associations from Latin American, Spain, the United States and the Caribbean. The International Insurance Council, Washington, once handled U.S. interests at FIDES, but the leaders of the council recently decided to disband the council. The ACLI has taken over the council’s FIDES responsibilities.
