Sept. 4, 2002 — Invesco Funds has introduced a growth-oriented fund that invests in five industry sectors.

The Multi-Sector fund invests approximately equal amounts of its assets in companies in the technology, health, financial services, leisure and energy sectors. The fund, which is sold through financial intermediaries, focuses on companies Invesco expects to generate above-average capital growth, according to its prospectus.

The fund is run by a team of five money managers who oversee other Invesco sector funds: John Segner, Joe Skornicka, Tom Wald, Mark Greengerg and Bill Keithler.
