May 28, 2002 — James Conheady, who helped run the Smith Barney International Aggressive Grth/A Fund (CSQAX), has retired.
Jeffrey Russell continues as the sole portfolio manager of the fund, which the two men had overseen since February 1997. Conheady’s retirement was disclosed in a regulatory filing.
The fund was down 12.2% this year through April, while the average international equity fund was up 1.9%. The fund returned 2.4% on average for the five years ended last month, compared to 2.3% for its peers.
