NU Online News Service, May 22, 11:35 a.m. – Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, Minneapolis, is promoting Charles Kavitsky to president.
Kavitsky has been the company’s chief marketing officer. He will continue to hold that title after he becomes president, the company says.
Kavitsky has worked for LifeUSA, a predecessor company, since 1995. He became an Allianz Life employee in 1999, when Allianz Life acquired LifeUSA.
Kavitsky will succeed Margery Hughes, who has been president and chief administrative officer of LifeUSA since 1990, and president and chief administrative officer of Allianz Life since 1999.
Allianz Life, a unit of Allianz A.G., Munich, says Hughes is retiring.
Denise Blizil, now senior vice president of company operations, will be the new chief administrative officer.
