NU Online News Service, April 4, 1:24 p.m. – The MIB Group Inc., Westwood, Mass., says its Center for Medico-Actuarial Statistics will now conduct experience studies for individual life insurance companies.

The experience studies will provide customized analyses of mortality, morbidity, lapse, expense, and other business risks, MIB says.

MIB is a nonprofit group best known for collecting underwriting information about individual life and health insurance applicants for insurers. The group has announced several other major technology and marketing initiatives over the past few months, including expanded access to personal information databases and a program to help life insurance companies avoid doing business with suspected terrorists.
