NU Online News Service, Dec. 19, 12:44 p.m. – Dr. Amir Neshat is trying to revive Preferred Dental Plan Inc., Newport Beach, Calif.
The dentist recently bought the dental health maintenance organization out of receivership and changed its name to Liberty Dental Plan of California.
Neshat is replacing the old computers, upgrading the dental plans, and preparing a campaign to market the plans to small employers and their benefits brokers.
Neshat, chairman of Newport Coast Dental Inc., Newport, a dental practice management company, owns Liberty Dental together with Dr. Arash Aghakhani.
Aghakhani is the chief dental officer at Liberty Dental and a vice president at Newport Coast Dental.
