ING Joint Venture Starts Operations In India

NU Online News Service, Oct. 5, 10:01 a.m. – ING Vysya Life Insurance, a joint venture of ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam, and two Indian companies, Vysya Bank Ltd. and GMR Technologies and Industries, has made its debut in India with the launch of three life insurance products.

The company has started operations in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. It plans to extend operations throughout the rest of the country. ING has a 26% stake in the venture. Vysya Bank owns 49% and GMR 25%.
