John Alden Adds Dental Plan For Small Employers

NU Online News Service, Sept. 26, 3:45 p.m. – John Alden Life Insurance Company, Milwaukee, a unit of Fortis, is introducing a new dental plan aimed at small employers.with at least three covered employers.

Employers with three or four covered employees can get either a dental indemnity plan or a dental preferred provider plan. Employers with five or more covered employees can offer employees a choice either an indemnity or a PPO option.

John Alden offers an orthodontic benefits option for employers with 10 more covered employees.

Both the indemnity plan and the PPO plan cover 100% of the cost of preventive care and the choice of a “low” and “high” option.

The high option provides a maximum benefit of $2,000 per year, and the low option provides a maximum benefit of $1,000 per year..
