Janney Montgomery Scott Appoints Charles Godwin Senior VP

NU Online News Service, July 25, 12:45 p.m. – Janney Montgomery Scott L.L.C., Philadelphia, announced today that Charles H. Godwin has been appointed senior vice president and regional manager. He will be the regional manager at Janney, a subsidiary of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, Philadelphia, for Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Godwin will be responsible for setting strategic goals and implementing and ensuring best practices across the region, the company says.

Godwin joins Janney from Tucker Anthony Sutro, Boston, where he served as senior vice president and national sales manager. Before joining Tucker Anthony in 1998, Godwin served as the resident manager at Alex Brown and Sons in Wilmington, Del.
