NU Online News Service, June 22, 2:25 p.m. – The New York Life Foundation, a charity funded by New York Life Insurance Company, New York, has given $50,000 to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation to cover the cost of 38 paid internships.

The internships give college students a chance to work for members of Congress on Capitol Hill.

Interns receive housing on a Washington college campus and a stipend to cover the cost of transportation, meals and personal expenses.
