LifeMasters Contracts With BCBS of Tennessee

NU Online News Service, June 18, 10:05 a.m. — LifeMasters Supported SelfCare Inc., Irvine, Calif., says it has hired BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Chattanooga, Tenn., to provide disease management services for health plan members diagnosed with congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes and asthma.

The agreement is the first in the disease-management industry to cover five disease states, LifeMasters says.
