Oracle Corp. released an updated version of its supply chain management software, with new features for compliance and cross-border collaboration. Supply Chain Management 11i.10 is aimed at cutting waste while helping with regulatory compliance and improving standards-based collaborations. "Traditional supply chain software was managed locally or regionally," says Jonathan Colehower, vice president of Oracle supply chain management. "With the new application we are providing the capability to tie together all local and regional supply chains so companies can get economies of scale, leverage spending, have global visibility, and extend lean concepts throughout the supply chain."
