A former employee of LPL-affiliated RIA Pence Wealth Management accused of fatally stabbing a co-worker and the co-worker's roommate is scheduled to face trial in March, court records indicate.
Ramy Hany Mounir Fahim of Irvine, California, has pleaded not guilty to two murder counts and denied all special circumstances that would make him eligible for the death penalty in the killings of co-worker Griffin Cuomo, 23, and Cuomo's roommate, Jonathan Bahm, 23, at their Anaheim apartment in April 2022.
Online records for California Superior Court, Orange County, show a jury trial in the case (#22NF1025) is set for March 20, nearly four years after the fatal attacks.
In addition to two murder counts, Fahim, who was 26 when the stabbings occurred, was charged with use of a knife to commit the crimes, lying in wait to murder Cuomo and murdering Bahm to avoid arrest, according to a court document.
The lawyer shown on the court website as his retained attorney and representatives from the Orange County district attorney's office didn't return emails this week seeking further information.
Fahim worked as a research associate for Pence Wealth Management starting in 2021, according to his LinkedIn profile.
