Rockefeller Capital Management’s global family office group has recruited a team of ex-UBS advisors known as the Entrepreneurs Group.
The eight-person team managed approximately $2.6 billion in assets as part of UBS Private Wealth Management, according to a Forbes profile. It is led by Emily Kramer Rubin, Kenneth Shapiro and Thomas Livaccari, who now become private advisors and managing directors at Rockefeller. They will report to Michael Outlaw, New York metro divisional director of Rockefeller Global Family Office.
Additional team members include Todd Ives, now a private advisor and vice president at Rockefeller, alongside client service and administration staffers Spenser Yeager, Madeline Irvin, Samantha Wagner and Stacey Betsch.
“We are pleased to welcome this highly respected team, whose commitment to excellence and client service aligns seamlessly with the entrepreneurial spirit of our firm,” said Chris Dupuy, president of Rockefeller Global Family Office, in a statement. “We look forward to partnering with them to deliver the strength of the Rockefeller platform to the clients they serve.”
The announcement notes that the New York-based team’s name was selected in recognition of its founders’ past experience as entrepreneurs. Its focus is on winning and serving business owners and their families.
In late June, Rockefeller added Suskind Ripple Halliwell Wealth Partners, a former UBS team based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The eight-member group is led by Leonard Suskind and Seth Ripple and works with $1.6 billion of assets, according to Forbes.
