Hightower Advisors has selected Scott Hadley to fill its newly created chief advisory officer role, tasking the former Osaic and Goldman Sachs executive with overseeing advisor engagement and support.
Larry Restieri, the recently appointed CEO of Hightower Advisors, cited Hadley’s “fresh, advisor-first perspective” as key to his hiring, adding that the move “underscores our continued commitment to supporting outsized growth for our advisors.”
Before joining Hightower, Hadley was a senior vice president of RIA solutions at Osaic, where he was responsible for leading the RIA development efforts within the broker-dealer. Before Osaic, he spent more than 17 years at Goldman Sachs, including working alongside Restieri.
Hightower announced two additional leadership changes this week, with Scott Holsopple becoming chief strategy officer and Jenn Anderson being promoted to chief marketing officer.
Holsopple is tasked with overseeing enterprise strategy, internal and external mergers and acquisitions, as well as Hightower’s value proposition for end clients and advisors. Anderson’s role is to lead the firm’s enterprise marketing, communications and brand efforts.
The nationwide Hightower advisor community comprises 144 advisory practices in 34 states and the District of Columbia, according to the announcement, with assets under management for Hightower and its affiliates of about $308 billion.
