The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation is rolling out a series of product and service updates for the financial advisors it serves. The enhancements are being announced during the firm’s yearly Insite conference — taking place this week in National Harbor, Maryland, and featuring talks by gymnast Simone Biles, as well as political consultant and pollster Kellyanne Conway.

“We’re delighted to announce a range of innovative new solutions at Insite this year that better serve our wealth manager clients and help them position their businesses for multi-decade growth,” said Jim Crowley, global head of BNY Pershing.

The product and service updates include the following:

  • Wove Investor platform is being unified with NetX for greater investor functionality and wealth reporting; investors will have access to more information and tools tied to their investments.
  • Wove Trading will offer fixed income portfolio construction, optimization and trading features.
  • Wove Portfolios will add construction tools for advisors to build unified managed accounts with model providers, active SMA managers and individual securities; they will be fully integrated with Wove workflows and trading. 
  • The BNY Advisor Growth Network, a community of wealth management experts and resources, is being formed to support advisors’ business growth objectives.
  • BNY Investments’ ResearchFlex will provide institutional-quality manager research services to support advisors’ investment decisions and assist them in their evaluation of portfolio strategies and managers on an ongoing basis.
  • BNY Investments’ PortfolioFlex aims to give advisors flexibility in modifying allocations at the asset class level and the underlying investments, so they can build tailored model portfolios that meet clients’ stated risk/return profiles and tax preferences. 
  • BNY A.M.P. is the firm’s asset movement platform for investor clients that gives them banking services such as virtual account management, fraud monitoring, 24/7 call center support and other capabilities.
