RBC Wealth Management says that an eight-member team formerly with UBS has joined it in Boise, Idaho.

The $1.6 billion Dalton Bahney and Treinen Wealth Management Group includes:

  • Sandra Dalton, managing director and private wealth advisor
  • William Bahney, senior vice president and advisor
  • Michael Treinen, CFP, senior vice president and advisor
  • Benjamin Dalton, senior vice president and advisor
  • Jeffrey Potter, CFP, senior business associate
  • Breanna Brandon, senior investment associate
  • Ryan Whitney, senior investment associate
  • Caroline Ren, client associate

The Dalton Bahney and Treinen Wealth Management Group brings over a century of combined experience in financial services, according to RBC, and aims to deliver "exceptional service while helping clients meet their wealth planning goals."

“The team was drawn to RBC Wealth Management’s culture and access to senior leadership,” said Dan Ball, RBC's Rocky Mountain Complex director. “They are well respected among their clients and their peers, and we are excited to welcome them to RBC.”

According to FINRA BrokerCheck, Sandra Dalton started her career at Merrill Lynch in 1984 and then moved to UBS in 2009. Bahney began work as an advisor at Merrill in 1974 and also joined UBS in 2009 — as did Treinen, who cut his teeth at Merrill starting in mid-2008. Benjamin Dalton became part of the group in 2012.

As of Jan. 31, RBC Wealth Management had $667 billion in total client assets and more than 2,200 financial advisors in the United States.
