An insurer has revised a benefit plan menu aimed at employers with 2 to 9 employees.
The Wellesley Hills, Mass., employee benefits division unit of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto, (TSX:SLF) has added three core dental plans to the E-Z Choice program.
The division also has added 3-year rate guarantees for purchasers of life and disability plans and increased short-term disability insurance plan maximums.
In addition to dental, life and short-term disability insurance, the E-Z Choice program offers access to long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program services, and other benefits.
The new dental plans have maximums set at $1,000, $1,200 and $1,500.
The plans waive the deductible for preventive care.
The plans come with a maximum carryoever benefit, implant and sealant coverage, and oral cancer screening coverage. The plans also come with a vision care discount card.
