Brown & Brown Inc. has bought the assets of Health Insurance Exchange Inc.
Brown & Brown, Daytona Beach, Fla., is not saying how much it has paid for Health Insurance Exchange, Seattle.
But Brown & Brown says the employee benefits firm generates about $1.2 million in annual revenue.
Bruce Curry, the principal in charge of the agency, and his staff will go to work for Brown & Brown's existing office in Seattle, Brown & Brown says.
Curry will become a senior vice president and benefits manager in Seattle, Brown & Brown says.
