The Clark County Association of Health Underwriters has donated $10,000 to the ALS Therapy Development Institute.
CCACHU, Las Vegas, a chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters, Arlington, Va., sent the gift to the Cambridge, Mass.-based institute in recognition of David Deitch, a veteran Clark County health insurance broker who recently learned that he has amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
CCAHU raised the cash for the donation by holding a charity golf tournament.
